Antihydral is an ointment for application to the skin and is used for heavy sweating, especially of the feet, hands and armpits.
2. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE USING ANTIHYDRAL?
Antihydral must not be used:
- if you are hypersensitive to formaldehyde or any of the other ingredients of Antihydral.
- on weeping or blistered skin.
- on the face.
When using Antihydral with other medicines
Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using or have recently taken/used any other medicines, even if they are non-prescription medicines. No interactions have been reported to date.Pregnancy and breast-feeding
Due to insufficient studies, you should not use the medicine during pregnancy. Do not use Antihydral on the nursing breast during breast-feeding.Driving and using machines
No special precautions are required.3. HOW TO USE ANTIHYDRAL?
Always use Antihydral exactly as described in this package leaflet. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Apply Antihydral thinly to the affected areas of skin 1 - 2 times a day and allow the paste to dry. After a few days, sweating usually decreases and Antihydral can then be used individually at longer intervals. If the skin becomes too dry and brittle during treatment, a fatty ointment should be applied temporarily. The skin can be cleaned with water before each new application of Antihydral. The duration of use is determined by the treating physician. Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of this medicine is too strong or too weak.
If you have used more Antihydral than you should
No signs of poisoning have been reported to date and are not to be expected. In the event of an overdose, side effects may be increased.
