Pasture galore – as much as they can graze
Oxen are all about meadows. And this grassland – is always available to them at the organic farmers. Good air, fresh greens and almost constantly on their feet. That's how it works naturally. And that's how fantastic taste is created.

Breed & Haltung
The white-brown Uckermark cattle look most beautiful in the morning mist. However, the animals are not only on the meadows then, but usually day and night – no matter what the weather. Because the robust regional cross between Fleckvieh and Charolais is kept extensively, i.e. on large areas with low stocking density. Their diet: what grows in front of their noses. Only in winter do they get additional hay and silage – as needed. Shelter stables are of course available, for example for calving. After all, the calm, down-to-earth cattle are raised in mother cow Haltung. Each cattle farm forms its own continuous cycle of generations.
Meat
Due to the permanent outdoor run, the meat has a beautiful marbling and little fat. The flavour carrier is well-measured intramuscularly and creates the fine marbling. Mainly heifers and oxen are purchased. Their result: juicy, lasting beef flavour – earthy, fruity, full-bodied. Exactly what gourmets swear by. There is also hardly any roasting loss with such slowly grown fibres. Thanks to the maturation of at least one week, the meat becomes particularly tender and aromatic.
