Ludwigsluster Pork Goulash from the Leg

More than a hundred years ago, the brothers Hermann and Ernst Schulze bought a small butcher's shop in Ludwigsluster Seminarstraße. Even then, tasty meat and sausage products were produced there, which soon elevated the company to the court supplier of the Grand Duke of Mecklenburg-Schwerin. In those days, 15 pigs, 1 cow and 4 calves were slaughtered, butchered and processed per week. In the following three decades, production increased almost twentyfold. In the following year 1927, a major fire destroyed almost three quarters of the company. The factory was quickly rebuilt: Then as now, quality and craftsmanship are the highest values of the house.
