
Premium Meat from Qualivo
An animal is what it eats – this is the motto of Qualivo. The Russ family stands behind Qualivo and is convinced: Quality begins with agriculture and ends with the utilization of the entire animal.
In 1997, the first Qualivo cattle were housed, in 2008 the Qualivo pigs were added to the Russ farm, and as a consequence, the production of sausages began. In 2014, the first Qualivo calves arrived at the farm in Lottstetten.

Good, Better, Qualivo
The classic organic and branded meat programs have so far been limited purely to natural husbandry and feeding, while Qualivo takes a significant step further: The feed for the cattle must meet the highest standards. As a result, the animals can develop excellently, making their meat incredibly tender and particularly delicious due to the fine "marbling." Furthermore, sustainability is a top priority at Qualivo, and the entire animal is utilized.
Natural Feeding - Completely GMO-Free
Conventional organic and branded meat programs focus on natural husbandry and feeding. Qualivo takes a decisive step further: the feed must also meet the highest standards. Qualivo premium feed has two special features:
1. Micronutrients for the health of the animals.
2. Finest Swiss herbs for a special aroma. The result is an excellent development of the animals.


Growing up under the best conditions
The Qualivo animals, a total of 80 bulls, 320 female and 190 male calves, are kept in spacious barns with straw bedding, a constantly fresh straw bed, and plenty of light. They also get plenty of exercise in the fresh air. In addition, only carefully selected and particularly qualified farmers are involved in the Qualivo fattening.
