Sodium chloride 5%, sodium acetate, acetic acid, trometamol, methylhydroxypropylcellulose, benzalkonium chloride 0.01% (preservative), water for injection.
Description
Omni-Sorb® is a sterile saline solution specially developed for ophthalmology, which extracts excess fluid from the "swollen" cornea and thus leads to an improvement in vision. Omni-Sorb® is used due to its pronounced decongestant properties, e.g., after operations such as cataract operations and corneal transplants or diagnostic procedures on the eye such as gonioscopy, funduscopy, or biomicroscopy.Areas of Application
For the physical-osmotic treatment of corneal swelling or fluid retention of any genesis. For decongesting the cornea and restoring corneal osmotic balance. 1Warnings
. Omni-Sorb® must not be used in case of hypersensitivity (allergy) to any of the ingredients.. For external use on the eye only.
Side Effects

. Temporary mild burning sensation immediately after application.. Temporary blurred vision.

Dosage
Instill one drop of Omni-Sorb® into the conjunctival sac of the affected eye 3 - 5 times daily. The frequency and duration of use should be determined by your ophthalmologist.Method of Application
Wash your hands thoroughly before using Omni-Sorb®. Remove the cap from the bottle. Tilt your head back and pull the lower eyelid down to form a small pocket. Hold the bottle as vertically as possible, with the opening facing downwards, over the eye. Gently squeeze the bottle and let one drop fall into the conjunctival sac without touching the eye with the dropper tip. Close the bottle. Make sure not to touch anything with the dropper tip (not even your fingers).Precautions for Use
. Do not use if the bottle or the safety seal is damaged.. In this type of corneal disease, the wearing of contact lenses should generally be avoided. Contact lenses must be removed before use. Wait at least 15 minutes after application before reinserting contact lenses.
. Please do not touch the eye, your hands, or any other surface with the dropper tip to avoid injury to the eye and/or bacterial contamination of the eye drops.
. If other medicines are to be applied locally to the eye simultaneously with Omni-Sorb, please speak to your treating ophthalmologist. A minimum interval of 5 minutes should be observed between the two applications.
. Close the bottle with the cap after use.
. If eye discomfort persists during the use of Omni-Sorb® or recurs after discontinuation, please consult your ophthalmologist immediately.
. Omni-Sorb® should not be used continuously for longer than 30 days. If symptoms persist after this period, please contact your ophthalmologist again.
