Leibniz, known for his Monadology, which states that monads are the fundamental building blocks of the world, is one of the great thinkers of the Enlightenment. He independently developed the calculus from Isaac Newton and had a long correspondence with him about it. Leibniz was a versatile scholar who engaged in philosophy, mathematics, natural sciences, hydraulic engineering, architecture, and theology. He developed the binary number system, which is fundamental to modern computer science. Leibniz believed that our world is the best of all possible worlds. At the age of 15, he studied at the university and also worked as a diplomat, trying to bridge religious divides. Additionally, he worked on developing a universal language that would convert arguments into mathematical calculations. Bahlsen GmbH & Co. KG is a German family business founded in 1889 by Hermann Bahlsen. Bahlsen is the most successful manufacturer of sweet pastries in Germany and market leader with the brands BAHLSEN and LEIBNIZ.
