Flo and Stefan were at a big shared flat party in Frankfurt. After a long evening, even the biggest party animals eventually got tired and, of course, had to brush their teeth. They noticed that many of their friends were still using a manual toothbrush, even though the majority of dentists recommend electric brushing.

In search of reasons, the same answers kept coming up: their friends found it too expensive, too cumbersome, and too unattractive. This sparked a first small idea for an electric toothbrush that would make people happy. Following this, they started happybrush and developed the mission "OralCare That Really Cares".

Since their successful appearance on “Die Höhle der Löwen”, the two founders work every day to bring a breath of fresh air into the dusty oral care industry with happybrush. Together, they develop products to combine modern, effective, and affordable oral care.

Furthermore, social commitment is very important to both founders. Therefore, for every toothpaste and mouthwash sold, they provide 2 days of water for people in need together with Plan International; for every dental floss, one day; for every pack of interdental brushes, 3 days; and with every pack of brush heads, 1 week of water.

Sustainability also plays a big role at happybrush. Thus, since 2019, Flo and Stefan have been able to save approx. 72 tons of new plastic with their products made from recycled plastic. Great!
