Laphroaig Select is the perfect introduction to the world of peaty and powerful whiskies with its milder and sweeter aromas. It comes from a selection of different cask types - a combination of former bourbon barrels and new American oak barrels. The storage in new oak barrels gives the malt a slightly sweet taste. However, the whisky mainly contains older whiskies and shares of the well-known Laphroaig bottlings such as 10 years, PX Cask, Tripple Wood and Quarter Cask. It appears without age specification and is bottled with 40% vol. 2019 International Spirits Challenge Silver, 2019 San Francisco World Spirits Awards Gold, 2019 SIP Awards Bronze.
