Centrum Für Ihn 50+ has been adapted to the nutritional needs of men over 50. It makes a valuable contribution of important vitamins, minerals and trace elements to optimally supplement their diet. The B vitamins and magnesium in particular are important for maintaining the bodily functions of men.

Centrum Für Ihn 50+ with the men's vitality formula:

• The B vitamins are necessary to support their energy metabolism, especially due to the higher energy consumption of men.
• Magnesium is important for muscle function and, together with vitamin B1, supports the function of the heart.

General information

The more unbalanced the food intake, the more difficult it is to absorb sufficient vitamins, minerals and trace elements.

Vitamins are essential, chemically very different compounds. They serve as regulating substances in the entire metabolic process. They are necessary for the function of nerves, bones, cells and blood cells. Vitamins are contained in almost all foods in varying amounts, but mainly in fresh fruit and vegetables. Minerals include calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, sodium, chloride and potassium. In total, they account for about 5% of body weight. They perform important tasks as building and regulating substances in the bones and connective tissue. They also act as activators or components of enzymes (= proteins that accelerate reactions in the body), hormones and red blood cells. Some are involved in maintaining tissue tension or are important for the function of the nerves. The total amount of all trace elements present in the body is only about 10g. Despite the small amounts (traces), the trace elements iron, iodine, zinc, manganese, copper, selenium, chromium and molybdenum are essential for life.
