1. What Olynth Saline Nasal Spray is used for

Olynth Saline Nasal Spray contains an isotonic saline solution (0.9%) without preservatives with sodium chloride and important minerals. Olynth Saline Nasal Spray is used for the supportive treatment of nasal congestion and for the gentle cleansing and moistening of the nasal mucous membrane. Nasal congestion can be caused by a cold/flu, allergies or a nasal operation.

Cold and flu

In the case of a cold or flu, the nasal mucous membrane is irritated and there is increased mucus production. The result is a runny and blocked nose. Olynth Saline Nasal Spray helps to reduce nasal congestion by liquefying the mucus and allowing it to drain away. Olynth Saline Nasal Spray can be used as a supportive measure for sleeping and feeding infants and toddlers suffering from a cold or flu, as it gently flushes out the mucus that is blocking the nose, allowing your child to breathe more easily.

Allergies

Olynth Saline Nasal Spray helps to flush out irritants that can trigger allergies such as hay fever when used regularly. By cleansing the nasal mucous membrane, it flushes out irritants and thus helps to minimise allergy-related symptoms such as a runny or blocked nose and restore the normal cleansing function of the nasal mucous membrane.

After a nasal operation

Olynth Saline Nasal Spray helps to remove dry blood and mucus crusts after a nasal operation.

Further information

Dear user, our nose is a real high-performance organ: every day we breathe in about 10,000 litres of air, which has to be filtered, moistened and tempered. However, the nose can only perform these tasks if the nasal mucous membrane is healthy. With Olynth Saline, we want to help you keep your nose naturally healthy and functioning properly.

Salt - a remedy for the respiratory tract

Salty remedies have long been used in medicine to relieve illnesses. For example, in health resorts, saline brine from natural sources is passed over a framework of brushwood walls and thus finely atomised. This increases the salt content in the air, which can provide particular relief for people with respiratory diseases. Similar to the salty air in salt mines, Olynth Saline can help specifically in the nose.

Olynth Saline helps with colds

In the case of a cold, the nasal mucous membrane is irritated and there is increased mucus production. The result is a runny and blocked nose. Olynth Saline facilitates nasal cleansing in a natural way. As a supplement to conventional cold remedies, Olynth Saline moistens the irritated nasal mucous membrane. However, it can also be used as the sole remedy for mild cold therapy, especially for infants and toddlers.

Olynth Saline for daily nasal care

The nasal mucous membrane does not only suffer from colds. Dry air in overheated rooms, air conditioning, cigarette smoke or even high ozone levels can irritate the mucous membranes of the respiratory tract. Olynth Saline is used to moisten the mucous membranes and helps to restore the functionality of the nose.
