1. WHAT IS SIDROGA FENNEL AND WHAT IS IT USED FOR?

Sidroga Fennel is a herbal gastrointestinal remedy. Sidroga Fennel is a herbal medicine for the treatment of respiratory diseases. Sidroga Fennel is used for digestive problems such as mild, cramp-like gastrointestinal problems, a feeling of fullness and flatulence, and for catarrh of the upper respiratory tract.

2. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO CONSIDER BEFORE TAKING SIDROGA FENNEL?

Sidroga Fennel must not be taken if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to fennel.

Special care should be taken when taking Sidroga Fennel if the symptoms described in section 1 worsen, last longer than 7 days or recur periodically. Consultation with a doctor is recommended in this case.

When taking Sidroga Fennel with other medicines

Interactions with other medicines have not been reported to date. Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using or have recently taken/used any other medicines, even if they are non-prescription medicines.

Children

There is no evidence of any risks arising from the widespread use of fennel as a medicine or in food. Sidroga Fennel can therefore be recommended for use in children and infants.

Pregnancy and breast-feeding

There is no evidence of any risks arising from the widespread use of fennel as a medicine or in food. However, there are no adequate studies on the use of fennel during pregnancy. Sidroga Fennel should therefore only be taken during pregnancy after consulting your doctor. There is extensive experience with the use of fennel during breast-feeding. No risks have been observed. Sidroga Fennel can therefore be recommended for use during breast-feeding. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking/using any medicines.

No special precautions are required.

3. HOW TO TAKE SIDROGA FENNEL?

Always take Sidroga Fennel exactly as described in this package leaflet. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, drink a cup of the tea infusion prepared as follows 2 to 3 times a day. Preparation: Pour boiling water (approx. 150 ml) over 1 to 2 Sidroga Fennel filter bags, cover and let steep for about 10 to 15 minutes, then remove the filter bags. Note: For infants and toddlers, the tea infusion can also be used to dilute milk or baby food. Do not take Sidroga Fennel without medical advice if the symptoms persist for more than 7 days or recur periodically. Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of Sidroga Fennel is too strong or too weak.

If you have taken a larger amount of Sidroga Fennel than you should and you notice any symptoms due to the higher dosage, please inform your doctor. He/she can decide on any necessary measures.

Like all medicines, Sidroga Fennel can have side effects, although not everybody gets them.

Very rare (in less than 1 in 10,000 patients treated, or unknown) allergic reactions of the skin and respiratory tract.

5. HOW TO STORE SIDROGA FENNEL?

Keep the medicine out of the reach of children. Do not use the medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the envelope/folding box after < Expiry date >. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month. Storage conditions: Please store the medicine in its original packaging to protect the contents from light and moisture.
