The NUK Nasal Aspirator gently and safely clears stuffy baby noses of nasal secretions. To suction the secretions, simply press the pump bulb completely and carefully hold the nozzle to the blocked nostril. Do not insert the nozzle into the nostril, but hold it gently in front of it. The wide safety nozzle prevents it from penetrating too deeply into the nose. Meanwhile, gently close the other nostril with your finger. Now slowly release the pressure on the pump bulb. This way, the mucus is gently suctioned out and the nose is clear again.
Warning!
Do not insert the nozzle into the nose. There is a risk of injury inside the nose. Cleaning: The nozzle is detachable. Clean the pump bulb and nozzle thoroughly with warm water immediately after use and shake them out. Let them dry disassembled with the opening facing upwards. Warning: Do not disinfect in the microwave or a steam sterilizer (material damage possible!) For disinfection, boil for approx. 5 minutes, ensuring there is enough liquid in the pot to avoid damage.
