- 360 g chicken breast fillet without skin
- 15 g cornstarch
- 20 g rapeseed oil
- 2 pinches salt
- 30 g liquid honey
- 20 g soy sauce
- 50 ml chicken broth
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 42 g garlic cloves
Side Dish
- 200 g Basmati rice
Garnish
- 1 handful fresh flat-leaf parsley
Preparation
- 1Cut the chicken breast into cubes of approx. 2 x 2 cm.
- 2Place the chicken cubes, cornstarch, and a portion of the salt into a sealable container. Close the lid and shake vigorously until all pieces of meat are evenly coated with the starch.

Instructions
- 1Heat the rapeseed oil in a large pan. Fry the floured chicken pieces over high heat for approx. 6–8 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- 2Reduce the heat to medium. Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken in the pan and let everything simmer for 4–6 minutes until the sauce becomes nicely thick and glossy.
- 3Meanwhile, cook the rice in salted water according to package instructions.
- 4Sprinkle the finished Honey Garlic Chicken with freshly chopped parsley and serve with the rice.
