Preparation
Preheat the oven to 180–185 °C top/bottom heat. Prepare a suitable baking dish (approx. 20 cm x 25 cm).
Preparation of the Crumble Topping
Place the oats in a large bowl. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat (approx. 2–3 minutes) and then pour it over the oats. Add honey, vanilla extract, and cinnamon and mix everything well until a crumbly mixture forms.
Layering and Baking
Place the frozen blueberries directly into the baking dish, sprinkle with cornstarch, and mix gently. Distribute the prepared oat mixture evenly over the berries, ensuring they are completely covered.
Chef's tip
The crumble tastes excellent with a dollop of fresh yogurt or a scoop of vanilla ice cream. A few fresh blueberries as a garnish also go wonderfully with it.
