Lac-Ophtal MP sine

Dear user, with Lac-Ophtal MP sine you have chosen a product that moisturises and soothes your eye surface. This provides long-lasting relief from the subjective symptoms of a wetting disorder.

Intended purpose

Eye moisturiser, also for (re-)wetting soft and hard contact lenses.

Composition

Each 0.6 ml single-dose container contains 2% povidone, sodium chloride, sodium hydroxide solution, boric acid and water for injections. It is also free of preservatives.

When should you use Lac-Ophtal MP sine?
It improves the moistening of the eye surface in case of dry eyes, burning or tired eyes, caused for example by prolonged watching of television or working at a computer screen, heating air or air conditioning. Lac-Ophtal MP sine is also suitable for wetting and rewetting soft and hard contact lenses during wear. The use of Lac-Ophtal MP sine makes it easier to insert contact lenses and prevents irritation and discomfort during wear.

How often should you use Lac-Ophtal MP sine?
Depending on your needs, drop 1 - 2 drops into each eye. Lac-Ophtal MP sine can be used daily and as often as you like. For contact lens wearers: Before inserting, place a drop of Lac-Ophtal MP sine on the side of the contact lens that faces the eye. For rewetting, if necessary, drop 1 - 2 drops of Lac-Ophtal MP sine into the eye. Contact lenses can remain in the eye when using the eye drops.

How do you use Lac-Ophtal MP sine?
It is recommended to wash your hands before using Lac-Ophtal MP sine. Please detach a single-dose container from the strip. Remove the head of the single-dose container by twisting (do not pull). Tilt your head back and pull down your lower eyelid with one finger. Please make sure that you hold the single-dose containers as vertically as possible when dropping to avoid touching the eye and injuring the eye. Squeeze the single-dose container and release a drop into the eye. Then close your eye, move it gently back and forth and blink to distribute the drop as well as possible on the surface of the eye.

Contraindications

Do not use the product if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.

Important notes on the use of Lac-Ophtal MP sine:

• In rare cases, this product may cause intolerance reactions such as local allergic reactions.
• If hypersensitivity reactions (e.g. irritation or intolerance) occur, please discontinue use of Lac-Ophtal MP sine.
• Avoid contact of the tip of the single-dose container with your fingers to prevent possible contamination of the solution.
• Make sure that the tip of the single-dose container does not touch your eye surface to prevent possible injury or damage.
• When using different preparations on the eye, they should be used at an interval of approx. 15 minutes.
• Do not use the product after the expiry date.
• Dispose of single-dose containers after use.
• Check that the single-dose container is intact before use. Dispose of damaged single-dose containers.

What pack sizes are available?
Lac-Ophtal MP sine is available in a pack of 30, 60 or 120 single-dose containers, each containing 0.6 ml of solution.

Storage
Do not store Lac-Ophtal MP sine above 25°C.
