Please read these instructions for use carefully, as they contain important information on what you should consider when using this medical device. If you have any questions, please contact your doctor or pharmacist.

When should COQUN be used?
COQUN is a sterile, preservative-free eye solution that contains coenzyme Q10 and vitamin E TPGS, two antioxidant substances. COQUN is applicable as a supplementary treatment to a pressure-lowering glaucoma therapy (to reduce excessively high intraocular pressure). It can counteract the oxidative damage associated with this clinical picture.

Instructions for use

Instill 1 - 2 drops of COQUN into the conjunctival sac of each eye twice a day or use as directed by your ophthalmologist. Close the bottle immediately after use. The solution can be used for 2 months after first opening. Use COQUN at least 10 minutes after administering other medications.

Warnings:

• Do not use the product if you are allergic or hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.
• If you experience any side effects, discontinue use and contact your ophthalmologist.
• The product can also be used if you wear contact lenses.
• Use the product at least 10 minutes before or after using other medications that lower intraocular pressure.
• The product is sterile for up to 60 days after first opening.
• The expiry date refers to the product in unopened, properly stored condition.
• The product must not be used after the expiry date stated on the packaging.
• Please wash your hands before use.
• The tip of the bottle must not touch your eyes.
• The bottle must not be used if it is damaged.
• Keep the product away from light and heat sources and out of the reach of children.
• For use on the eye. Do not swallow.

• 10 ml bottle, preservative-free in OSD system (Ophthalmic Squeeze Dispenser).
• 5 ml bottle, preservative-free in OSD system (Ophthalmic Squeeze Dispenser).
• 5 ml bottle, (non-saleable sample), preservative-free in OSD system (Ophthalmic Squeeze Dispenser).

Composition

100 ml COQUN eye solution contains

100 mg coenzyme Q10, 500 mg vitamin E TPGS (D-tocopheryl polyethylene glycol-1000 succinate), buffered isotonic solution to 100 ml.
