A velvety red wine with Venetian character – from the hills of Alto Mincio

The Ottella Gemei Rosso IGT is a harmonious cuvée of Corvina Veronese, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon, which thrive in the picturesque morainic hills of Alto Mincio. The grapes are carefully hand-picked and selected. Vinification takes place partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in large oak barrels, followed by malolactic fermentation and an aging period of about six months to give the wine additional complexity.

In the glass, the Gemei presents itself in a deep ruby red with garnet reflections. The bouquet entices with aromas of ripe red berries, Maraska cherries, and a hint of spices. On the palate, it is velvety and full-bodied, with a fine texture and elegant tannins, culminating in a long, fruity finish.
