Luna Nero d'Avola - DOC Sicilia

The Vini Vaccaro Luna Nero d’Avola Sicilia DOC is a powerful yet balanced red wine from Sicily. In the glass, it displays a deep ruby red of dark intensity. The nose entices with aromas of ripe black cherry, blackberry, red berry fruit, as well as a hint of licorice and spicy notes. On the palate, it presents itself as full-bodied, with a harmonious fruit structure, soft tannins, and a smooth, fruit-driven finish. The alcohol content is approximately 13% Vol. – ideally balanced with intense fruitiness and a pleasant length

Serving recommendation: 15–18 °C

Colour: intense ruby red with dark reflections

Nose: fruity notes of cherry, berries, licorice; spicy and deep

Taste: full-bodied and round with ripe fruit, mild tannins and a long, velvety finish

Food Pairing: Pairs excellently with grilled meat, pasta with red sauce or spicy Pecorino – versatile for barbecue or hearty pasta dishes
