Since 1990, the Fehmel family from Mutterstadt has been impressing customers with their conscientiousness and quality. Not only should their products be convincing, but also the way in which they are produced - with healthy seeds and plant material, care for soil fertility, natural pest control and moderate use of fertilizers, they ensure impeccable vegetables and exquisite berries.
The flowering bee pastures are also a true paradise for the all-important yellow-black honey producers. Perennial wild and cultivated herbs - such as phaselia, globe thistle, real thyme and many more - grow on the colorful meadows around the farm. The different flowering times of the various herbs ensure that there is food for the bees all year round. Also popular with the bees is a small acacia forest, where bee colonies of local beekeepers create pure acacia honey - a real treat.
