Description
Salmon-colored summer cuvée
Marc Weinreich was "Discovery of the Year 2012" and offers a clear range of organic wines from the best Bechtheim sites. The red grapes are pressed immediately, resulting in a rosé, a salmon-colored wine that contains very few tannins. The rosé is a summery cuvée of Pinot Noir, Portugieser and Schwarzriesling: appealing, fragrant, fruity with a delicate character. On the nose it is reminiscent of aromas of strawberries and raspberries with a hint of peach, on the palate juicy and lively, light-footed. Subtle finish.

“Grapes. Soil. Weather. Me.” is how winemaker Marc Weinreich describes his philosophy and his motto of winemaking. For him, wine is not a science, but a passion. The Rheinhesse therefore does not follow norms, but his gut feeling and his taste. He understands his wines as the origin of nature and his actions.
