Description
Baden's charming scamp
The Baden charm of this wine is already evident in the fine scent of mirabelles and melons. This enjoyment continues on the palate, so refreshing and fruity. Invigorating and delicious!

Fruity and light-hearted, the wines of the Oktav line from Weinhaus Heger are wonderfully suited as versatile food companions.

In one of the warmest regions of Germany, the Kaiserstuhl near Freiburg, lies the VDP winery Dr. Heger. Joachim and Silvia Heger run the business in the third generation, and Rebecca Heger, the fourth generation, is already in the starting blocks. From the showcase sites Ihringer Winklerberg and Achkarrer Schlossberg, they use skilled craftsmanship in the cellar to produce characterful, delicate and nuanced wines.

The vines in the southwest of the Baden wine-growing region benefit from around 1,700 hours of sunshine per year. The expressive wines from the Hegers come from the very steep, very hot and very stony Ihringer Winklerberg, a world-famous VDP.Erste Lage. The character of this terroir is carefully worked out in the cellar with great attention to detail and precision and bottled.
