In 1968, the very first wine with the Simonsig family crest was bottled: a Chenin Blanc. The classic among the white wines from the Cape and Simonsig, has been demonstrating continuous quality for 52 years, which is why Mundus Vini has already selected it several times as the best white wine in South Africa. Bright sunshine colours and invigorating notes of pear and passion fruit provide a magnificent start, followed by stone fruit and melon. The light texture is complemented by a refreshing acidity. Ideal with light summer dishes such as salad, mussels or poultry.
