The peach originally comes from China, where people were already cultivating it 2000 years before Christ. It then reached Europe via Persia in the 10th century.

The peach, which is rich in minerals and vitamins, harmonises in desserts or cut into small pieces as a sweet component in fresh salads.

Stephan Rötzer, a Munich native and the son of a fruit and vegetable merchant, was enthusiastic about Spain and its citrus fruits, so he founded SanLucar in Valencia in 1993. Since then, he has been realising his dream and offering people the best fruits from all over the world every day. In 2004, he introduced the brand to Germany.

SanLucar cooperates with master growers in order to guarantee the vision of special and high-quality fruit and vegetables. They only work where environmentally friendly cultivation can be implemented, rely on many years of experience and use the latest cultivation methods. In addition, they create a grower profile before each collaboration, which must meet the guidelines for the environment and quality. So it is hardly surprising that SanLucar is now a large, international brand with a good reputation.
