Aptamil Profutura DUOAdvance 2 follow-on milk is based on the latest research findings on breast milk and early childhood nutrition. Preparation instructions: 

When preparing Aptamil Profutura DUOADVANCE 2, follow the instructions for use exactly. Improper preparation and storage can lead to health problems due to the growth of unwanted germs. Prepare the food fresh before each meal and feed it immediately. Do not reuse food leftovers. Clean the bottle, teat and ring thoroughly. Do not heat milk food in the microwave (risk of overheating).

1. Cool fresh, boiled drinking water to approx. 40°C and pour 2/3 of the required amount of water into the bottle.
2. For precise dosing of the powder, wipe off the enclosed measuring spoon on the scraper. Only use the enclosed measuring spoon.
3. Add the required amount of powder to the bottle. Store the measuring spoon in the spoon holder.
4. Close the bottle and shake vigorously vertically for about 10 seconds, add the remaining amount of drinking water and shake vigorously again.
5. Open the bottle and attach the teat. Check the contents of the bottle for drinking temperature (approx. 37°C).

DOSAGE AND PREPARATION: The number of bottles and drinking quantities are guidelines and can vary individually. FOR 1 MEASURING SPOON OF POWDER YOU NEED 30 ML OF WATER. A level measuring spoon holds 4.8g.

• Age of the child: after the 6th month, bottle meal per day 1-3, ready-to-drink food (ml) 230, required per meal: water in ml 210, measuring spoons 7
• Age of the child: after the 6th month, bottle meal per day 1-3, ready-to-drink food (ml) 200, required per meal: water in ml 180, measuring spoons 6
• Age of the child: after the 6th month, for smaller drinking quantities: ready-to-drink food (ml) 170, required per meal: water in ml 150, measuring spoons 5
• Age of the child: after the 6th month, for smaller drinking quantities: ready-to-drink food (ml) 130, required per meal: water in ml 120, measuring spoons 4
• Age of the child: after the 6th month, for smaller drinking quantities: ready-to-drink food (ml) 100, required per meal: water in ml 90, measuring spoons 3 Babies need approx. 5 meals a day.

A bottle meal should be replaced with every complementary food meal.
