The Masseto 2021 is an outstanding Italian red wine made from 100% Merlot grapes. It impresses with its deep dark colour and an intense bouquet of plums and blackberries, underlined by notes of toasted oak, vanilla and a hint of iron. On the palate, it presents itself with dense tannins and a lively acidity, which underline the spicy finish. This elegant and powerful wine is a prime example of the quality of the so-called Super Tuscans and promises a long storage potential. It is recommended to enjoy the Masseto 2021 only from 2027 onwards to develop its full potential.
