With a purely mineral UV filter, the sun milk effectively protects against UVA and UVB radiation, with no waiting time. With plant-based glycerin, the sun milk moisturizes the skin. Tocopherol, also known as Vitamin E, also has anti-inflammatory effects and, as an antioxidant, can gently reduce skin damage caused by UV rays.

All ingredients are vegan, certified according to strict natural cosmetic guidelines, and skin compatibility has been rated as "very good" by independent dermatologists.

All boep sunscreens do not contain synthetic UV filters (such as Octocrylene, Oxybenzone, and Octinoxate), which are suspected of bleaching corals and are therefore prohibited there according to the Hawaii Reef Act. You also won't find microplastics, parabens, mineral oils, or so-called questionable plasticizers in boep sunscreens.

Thanks to its pump dispenser, the sun milk with SPF 50 is easy to apply and has a pleasant, light summer scent.

Application: 

Apply the sun milk generously before sun exposure. Too little quantity reduces protection. You should also reapply regularly to maintain sun protection - especially after being in water. You should also avoid intense midday sun. In addition, babies and small children should be protected from direct sunlight and should also wear protective clothing and use sunscreens with a high sun protection factor (>25). Even high sun protection factors do not offer complete protection against UV rays. Please note: excessive sun exposure endangers health.

When Dr. Michaela Hagemann became a mother, she was looking for suitable care products for her newborn daughter. The ingredients were to provide natural care, and the products were to be free from synthetic fragrances, mineral oils, or parabens. Only natural cosmetics seemed to consistently achieve this - but why did they often smell so much like herbal tea? In short, the young doctor decided to develop her own care series with the help of her brother Tilman and a smaller, renowned natural cosmetics manufacturer from the Allgäu – thus das babyœlprojekt, or boep for short, was born.

The doctor carefully selected ingredients that she knew were suitable for sensitive baby skin. The project gained momentum: mothers who were friends helped her choose the subtle scent, beautiful gift sets with high-quality organic textiles were created, and sustainable packaging was selected. Independent dermatologists confirmed the skin compatibility of the newly developed products as "very good". During the design of the logo and website, das babyœlprojekt finally became "das boep".
