Ingredients
- 90 g Jay & Joy Jeanne vegan blue cheese
- 1 small yellow onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 400 ml vegan cream
- 50 g chopped walnuts
- 500 g spaghetti
- 20 ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch ground pepper
Preparation
- 1Dice the onion, finely chop the garlic.
- 2Heat some olive oil in a pot and first brown the onions. Then add the garlic and sauté briefly.
- 3Deglaze with the plant-based cream, reduce the heat, and add the vegan blue cheese Jeanne in pieces to the pot, stirring well. Depending on how ripe the vegan cheese is and how strong you want the blue cheese flavor to be, you can add a little more or less.
- 4Season with 0.5-1 tsp salt and some pepper, and the sauce is ready!
- 5Cook pasta according to package instructions.
- 6For a topping, dry roast chopped walnuts in a pan. Sweet and fruity chutneys are also suitable as another topping!
- 7Optional: Top with caramelized onion chutney
