Joseph Faiveley is described in the context of Domaine Faiveley as a Burgundy wine estate, founded in 1825 and now run by the 7th generation. Rooted in Burgundy, especially in Nuits-Saint-Georges, the house has vineyard holdings including Grand Cru and Premier Cru sites as well as several monopoles (around 127 ha mentioned).
In the cellar, modernizations from 2013 onwards are noted, along with new barrels and gentle handling using gravity instead of pumps.
