About Manufacturer
LEGO GmbH began manufacturing molds in Hohenwestedt in 1958, initially in the basement of the German sales company. Mold production included established elements and occasionally new products, with an annual production of 150 molds until 1980. LEGO GmbH focuses on sustainability: the molds were designed so that their components could be reused when they were worn out.
