The original hazelnut liqueur from Piedmont in the monk design: Why does our bottle look like a monk? Brother Angelico (Italian: "fratello angelico"), a monk from the province of Piedmont, laid the foundation for our liqueur in the 18th century. He conjured up the first version of Frangelico from the finest hazelnuts. Today it is roasted, distilled and prepared according to a secret recipe with ingredients such as cocoa, berries and vanilla.
