About the Supplier:

The basis of all our drinks are traditional cider apple varieties from eco-certified traditional orchards.

From them, we produce high-quality ciders, juices, and spritzers. We use no added sugar, flavourings, or other additives, only high-quality direct juice from fruit varieties.

The home of the old varieties are the local traditional orchards. We speak of traditional orchards when several dozen fruit trees live scattered across a meadow. In contrast to conventional plantation cultivation, they are home to up to 5,000 animal and plant species and are thus among the most biodiverse biotopes in Central Europe!

Traditional orchards are Germany's small rainforests.

In Germany, 80% of traditional orchards have already been cleared. Among other things, due to the intensification of monocultures and land sealing. Similar to tropical rainforests, traditional orchards are now highly endangered biotopes!

The care and harvesting of traditional orchards are particularly complex and therefore often no longer economically viable for farmers today. That's why we pay more than double the market price. This creates a fair and regional value chain and makes it possible to preserve the meadows and provide a home for biodiversity.
