For us, this big word means a lot. For our products, we have therefore attached great importance to these points from the very beginning:

• Development according to the strict guidelines for certified natural cosmetics
• Vegan formulas (without beeswax or wool wax (lanolin))
• No outer packaging (only ends up in the garbage)
• Recyclable tubes and bottles*

When Dr. Michaela Hagemann became a mother, she was looking for suitable care products for her newborn daughter. The ingredients should naturally nourish and the products should be free from synthetic fragrances, mineral oils or parabens. Only natural cosmetics seemed to really implement this consistently - but why did it often have to smell so much like herbal tea? In short, the young doctor decided to develop her own care series with the help of her brother Tilman and a smaller, renowned natural cosmetics manufacturer from the Allgäu - this is how the babyœl project, boep for short, came about.

The doctor carefully selected ingredients that she knew were suitable for sensitive baby skin. The project took off: friends' mothers helped her choose the subtle fragrance, beautiful gift sets with high-quality organic textiles were created and sustainable packaging was chosen. Independent dermatologists confirmed the skin compatibility of the newly developed products as "very good". When designing the logo and website, the babyœl project finally became "das boep".
