ASS AbZ PROTECT 100 mg gastric juice resistant tablet.

ASS AbZ Protect 100 mg inhibits, among other things, the adhesion and aggregation of platelets (thrombocytes) and thus prevents the formation of blood clots (thrombi) (thrombocyte aggregation inhibition).

ASS AbZ Protect 100 mg is used:

• in unstable angina pectoris (heart pain due to circulatory disorders in the coronary arteries) – as part of standard therapy.
• in acute myocardial infarction – as part of standard therapy.
• to prevent another myocardial infarction after the first myocardial infarction (for reinfarction prophylaxis).
• after operations or other interventions on arterial blood vessels (after arterial vascular surgical or interventional procedures, e.g. after aortocoronary vein bypass [ACVB], in percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty [PTCA]).
• to prevent transient cerebral ischemia (TIA: transient ischemic attacks) and cerebral infarction after prodromal stages (e.g. transient paralysis in the face or arm muscles or transient loss of vision) have occurred.

Note

ASS AbZ Protect 100 mg is not suitable for the treatment of pain.
