It is important that the Braun ThermoScan protective caps on the temperature sensor are replaced after each use. Disposable protective caps ensure hygienic use without cleaning or disinfecting the sensor, thereby preventing cross-contamination. Furthermore, by replacing the Braun protective cap after measurement, no dirt or earwax accumulates, which could block the sensor area and lead to inaccurate measurement results.
