Protefix Adhesive Powder

Field of application

Powder as an adhesive for dentures.

Dosage and type of application

Sprinkle Protefix Adhesive Powder evenly and thinly onto the moistened denture. The denture plate fits immediately after insertion and adheres securely in the mouth for many hours. If loosening occurs prematurely - for example, due to the consumption of a lot of liquid - it is sufficient to sprinkle Protefix Adhesive Powder thinly. The denture fits immediately again. Any residues can be easily rinsed off the denture with a toothbrush under running water. Particularly stubborn adhesive residues can be removed with a cotton ball soaked in edible oil. To avoid an excessive amount of discharge, please do not squeeze the bottle. Hold the bottle at an angle and tap it lightly with your index finger. This allows for precise dosing. Applying too much adhesive powder can cause it to harden, increasing the risk of damage to the oral mucosa.

Composition

Protefix Adhesive Powder contains: sodium alginate.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

Side effects

In individual cases, hypersensitivity reactions of the oral mucosa or the entire organism have been observed. If you suspect an allergic reaction, please contact a dentist.

Notes

Protefix Adhesive Powder should only be used temporarily. Persistent poor adhesion of the denture without adhesive powder may be due to deviations in its fit and function. In this case, a doctor should be consulted. Apply only to healthy oral mucosa. Please clarify this with your dentist. Do not use after the expiry date. Keep out of reach of children!
