What should you consider when using Retterspitz Innerlich?
If the bottle has been standing for a long time, sediment will form, which must be distributed by shaking vigorously before each use. The sediment is caused by the natural and unavoidable flocculation of protein, it is part of the normal appearance of the product. The flakes are formed by the manufacturing process of hardened, denatured and germ-free excipients from protein and fresh chicken egg. This complex is coarsely dispersed and colloidally dissolved.

Special caution when using Retterspitz Innerlich

Special caution is required if you are undergoing renal dialysis for renal insufficiency. Continuous use should be avoided here.

Infants and toddlers

Only give this medical device to children under two years of age after consulting a doctor, as there is not yet sufficient experience for a general recommendation for this age group.

Elderly people

No restrictions for elderly people.

Pregnancy

There is no evidence that taking Retterspitz Innerlich will disrupt the normal course of pregnancy or harm the unborn child. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking it. Contains 2% alcohol by volume.

Breastfeeding

There is no evidence or knowledge that taking Retterspitz Innerlich during breastfeeding will cause any disruption. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking it. Contains 2% alcohol by volume.

Driving and operating machinery

No special precautions are required.

How should Retterspitz Innerlich be used?

Dosage and type of application

The sediment deposited in the bottle is shaken vigorously before each removal. Unless otherwise prescribed, adults take a liqueur glass (20 ml) of Retterspitz Innerlich three to five times a day a quarter of an hour before meals. Children from the age of two are given one tablespoon (15 ml) three to five times a day. Retterspitz Innerlich is taken undiluted. The liquid removed should not be poured back into the original bottle. In the case of chronic gastrointestinal weakness in elderly people, long-term use over several years is possible. If you forget to use Retterspitz Innerlich, take the normal dose at the next opportunity. If the recommended dose of Retterspitz Innerlich has been overdosed intentionally or unintentionally, there is no danger. If Retterspitz Innerlich has been accidentally and irregularly drunk by children, there is no danger, even if the sour taste triggers a kind of gag reflex.

How should Retterspitz Innerlich be stored?
Please keep Retterspitz Innerlich out of reach of children. You must not use Retterspitz Innerlich after the expiry date stated on the container.

Note on opening

Keep the opened bottle carefully closed at no more than + 25°C, preferably in the refrigerator. The opened bottle should be used up within 12 weeks.

Storage conditions

Contains 2% alcohol by volume Keep out of reach of children. Do not store above + 25°C. After opening, keep for 12 weeks. No special further storage requirements.

Other information

If a bottle is difficult to open, please proceed as follows: Immerse the bottle, with the cap pointing downwards, in approx. + 50°C warm water for a few minutes. It should then be easy to open.

Purified water, thyme oil, orange oil, lemon oil, tartaric acid, citric acid monohydrate, alum, denatured, hardened, germ-free chicken egg, medicinal soap, ethanol.
