1. WHAT ARE KIJIMEA IRRITABLE BOWEL CAPSULES AND WHAT ARE THEY USED FOR?

This medical device contains the bifido bacteria strain B.bifidum MIMBb75. It is used to treat irritable bowel syndrome with the typical symptoms of constipation, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, flatulence and bloating.

2. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE TAKING KIJIMEA IRRITABLE BOWEL CAPSULES?

Kijimea Irritable Bowel Capsules contain no preservatives, sweeteners, flavourings, lactose or gluten and are also ideal for patients with diabetes.

During pregnancy and breastfeeding

There is no evidence to suggest that Kijimea Irritable Bowel Capsules should not be taken during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

In children

There is no evidence to suggest that Kijimea Irritable Bowel Capsules should not be taken by children and adolescents.

When taking Kijimea Irritable Bowel Capsules with medicines

Interactions with medicines are not known.

3. HOW TO TAKE KIJIMEA IRRITABLE BOWEL CAPSULES?

Always take Kijimea Irritable Bowel Capsules exactly as described in this leaflet. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. The following information applies unless your doctor has prescribed Kijimea Irritable Bowel Capsules differently. Please follow the instructions for use, otherwise Kijimea Irritable Bowel Capsules will not work properly! Take two Kijimea Irritable Bowel capsules once a day with a meal, unchewed, with sufficient liquid (e.g. 1 glass of water). To achieve optimal results, Kijimea Irritable Bowel Capsules should be taken for at least four weeks, preferably twelve weeks. An initial relief of symptoms should be noticeable after about one week of regular use.

4. WHAT SIDE EFFECTS ARE POSSIBLE?

No side effects have been observed in connection with the use of Kijimea Irritable Bowel Capsules to date. If you notice any side effects, please inform the manufacturer stated in this leaflet.

5. HOW TO STORE KIJIMEA IRRITABLE BOWEL CAPSULES AND HOW LONG ARE THEY SHELF-LIFE?

Kijimea Irritable Bowel Capsules should be stored below 25°C and dry. Keep this product out of the reach of children. Do not use Kijimea Irritable Bowel Capsules after the expiry date stated on the outer carton.

Kijimea Irritable Bowel Capsules contain the bifido bacteria strain B.bifidum MIMBb75. The other ingredients are: corn starch, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, titanium dioxide, iron oxide, brilliant blue FCF.

Kijimea Irritable Bowel is available in packs of 14, 28 and 84 capsules.
