Ingredients

GeloSitin Nasal Care contains: Refined sesame oil, dicaprylyl carbonate, orange oil, lemon oil, antioxidant mixture (highly tocopherol-containing extracts of natural origin, palmitoylascorbic acid, ascorbic acid, citric acid, ethanol, vegetable oil). Free from preservatives.

Areas of application

GeloSitin Nasal Care is used for the physical treatment and moistening of dry or damaged nasal mucosa, e.g. when exposed to dry air (air conditioning, heating), when using decongestant medication excessively, in cases of dry nasal catarrh with or without crusts and scabs forming at the entrance to the nose or on the inner surface of the nasal passages.

Contraindications, interactions and side effects

GeloSitin Nasal Care must not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to the ingredients. Do not use at the same time as other local therapeutics! If other medical devices or aids are used in the nose at the same time, such as nasal cannulas for oxygen supply, the compatibility with GeloSitin Nasal Care must be checked. In very rare cases, GeloSitin Nasal Care can cause a scratching or burning sensation in the throat/nasal area.

What should be considered for children?
Do not use in children under 3 years of age.

What do you need to consider during pregnancy and breastfeeding?
GeloSitin Nasal Care can be used without risk during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Dosage instructions, type and duration of use

The following information applies unless your doctor recommends otherwise.

How should you use GeloSitin Nasal Care?
Before using for the first time, please screw the enclosed dosing pump onto the glass bottle. To do this, remove the screw cap from the glass bottle, insert the thin tube of the dosing pump into the bottle and screw the dosing pump on tightly. Remove the green protective cap and always hold the spray bottle upright, otherwise the pump will not function properly. It is important that you actuate the spray mechanism several times before using for the first time and after a longer period of inactivity, observing the spray direction, until an even spray mist is produced by actuating the pump quickly and forcefully.

How much and how often should you use GeloSitin Nasal Care?
Depending on your needs, you can spray 1 - 2 strong bursts into each nostril several times a day, e.g. every 3 - 4 hours. GeloSitin Nasal Care can be used up to 5 times a day.

How long can you use GeloSitin Nasal Care?
GeloSitin Nasal Care can be used safely over a longer period of time or for interval therapy.

Notes and information on shelf life

Do not use GeloSitin Nasal Care after the expiry date. It is recommended to use up GeloSitin Nasal Care within 6 to 7 weeks after opening.

Storage instructions

Store GeloSitin Nasal Care below 25°C. Do not store GeloSitin Nasal Care in the refrigerator. Store medical devices carefully! Keep out of reach of children!
