What do Emser Pastilles Lozenges with Menthol Freshness sugar-free contain?
One lozenge contains: 126 mg Natural Emser Salt. (Analysis data of the ions in g/kg: Lithium 0.21, Sodium 308.7, Potassium 6.11, Magnesium 0.291, Calcium 0.016, Manganese 0.0001, Iron (II, III) 0.003, Fluoride 0.078, Chloride 188.4, Bromide 0.202, Iodide 0.005, Nitrate 0.355, Sulphate 9.24, Hydrogencarbonate 474.4, Carbonate 14.0). The following are included as excipients: Isomalt, calcium stearate, menthol fresh aroma, peppermint aroma, sucralose. Emser Pastilles Lozenges with Menthol Freshness sugar-free contain a sugar substitute of natural origin and are tooth-friendly.

When are Emser Pastilles Lozenges with Menthol Freshness sugar-free used?
Emser Pastilles Lozenges with Menthol Freshness sugar-free are used to treat sore throats, difficulty swallowing and coughing in case of inflammations in the throat and pharynx of various origins. Furthermore, Emser Pastilles Lozenges with Menthol Freshness sugar-free protect the throat and voice in case of heavy vocal strain, dry respiratory tracts and acid reflux. With their fresh essential oils, they are perceived as pleasant in case of colds. The application has also proven effective in case of smoker's cough.

How do Emser Pastilles Lozenges with Menthol Freshness sugar-free work?
Emser Pastilles Lozenges with Menthol Freshness sugar-free work on the basis of the EMS mineral complex, consisting of over 30 minerals and trace elements. This unique active ingredient formula not only moistens the mucous membrane of the throat and pharynx, but also actively dissolves mucus and stubborn coatings. At the same time, it intercepts active inflammation triggers on the mucous membrane and thus supports healing.

When should Emser Pastilles Lozenges with Menthol Freshness sugar-free not be used?
You should not use Emser Pastilles Lozenges with Menthol Freshness sugar-free if you are known to be allergic to the ingredients. Patients who should follow certain diets must consider the following information: 1 tablet contains 1.6 mmol (equivalent to approx. 0.04 g) sodium, approx. 0.00063 mg iodine (as iodide). We ask you to consider the respective content in case of corresponding diets.

What should be considered during pregnancy and breastfeeding?
Since there are no sufficient studies available, Emser Pastilles Lozenges with Menthol Freshness sugar-free should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding due to their content of essential oils.

Which medicines are affected in their effect by Emser Pastilles Lozenges with Menthol Freshness sugar-free?
An effect on medicines is not known in case of intended use, however, Emser Pastilles Lozenges with Menthol Freshness sugar-free should not be taken together with medicines directly.

How much and how often should you use Emser Pastilles Lozenges with Menthol Freshness sugar-free?
At the first signs of an inflammation such as sore throat, difficulty swallowing, coughing or hoarseness, before or during heavy vocal strain, suck or slowly dissolve 1 to 2 tablets in the mouth several times (up to 6 times) daily as required. Children up to 6 years of age can suck or slowly dissolve one lozenge in the mouth up to 4 times daily as required.

How long should you use Emser Pastilles Lozenges with Menthol Freshness sugar-free?
Emser Pastilles Lozenges with Menthol Freshness sugar-free can be taken for an unlimited period of time. If the symptoms in the throat and on the voice do not improve within 3 days despite the use of Emser Pastilles Lozenges with Menthol Freshness sugar-free, we recommend consulting a doctor.

What should be done if Emser Pastilles Lozenges with Menthol Freshness sugar-free have been swallowed in large quantities?
If a larger number (several packs) of Emser Pastilles Lozenges with Menthol Freshness sugar-free are taken, nausea and vomiting as well as a feeling of fullness and flatulence may occur, and diarrhoea may also occur if 30 tablets or more are taken per day. Countermeasures are not necessary.

Which side effects can Emser Pastilles Lozenges with Menthol Freshness sugar-free have?
Very rarely, stomach problems and flatulence may occur. If side effects occur that are not described in these instructions for use, please let us know.

• Emser Pastilles Lozenges without Menthol Pack of 30 lozenges,
• Emser Pastilles Lozenges without Menthol sugar-free Pack of 6 or 30 lozenges,
• Emser Pastilles Lozenges with Menthol Freshness sugar-free Pack of 6 or 30 lozenges,
• Emser Pastilles Lozenges with Liquorice sugar-free Pack of 30 lozenges.

Please note:

• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use after the expiry date.
• Store the pastilles protected from light in the outer carton.
