Gum Ortho Wax is an orthodontic wax (medical device), consisting of 5 portioned wax strips on wax paper in a plastic case available in 2 variants: Unflavored (Ref. 723) and with mint flavor (Ref. 724).

Why use orthodontic wax?
When wearing orthodontic appliances, discomfort and irritation can occur, caused by the repeated friction of brackets on the oral mucosa. Orthodontists recommend the use of orthodontic wax on brackets and wires to form a protective barrier, to improve comfort during orthodontic treatment.

Indications:
Gum Ortho Wax has been specially developed to protect the oral mucosa from lesions and to relieve irritation caused by orthodontic appliances. It can be used both to prevent and to relieve irritation caused by orthodontic appliances, as required. The duration of use can be up to 30 consecutive days. If lesions or irritation persist, consult your orthodontist. Gum Ortho Wax is intended for adults and children aged 7 years and over under the supervision of an adult.

Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the ingredients contained in the product.
