Active ingredients: Rhus toxicodendron Dil. D6 and Phytolacca americana Dil. D4

1. WHAT IS RUBAXX DUO AND WHAT IS IT USED FOR?

RubaXX Duo is a homeopathic medicine. The areas of application are derived from the homeopathic medicinal product images. These include: Improvement of rheumatic pain.

2. WHAT SHOULD YOU CONSIDER BEFORE TAKING RUBAXX DUO?

RubaXX Duo must not be taken:

• if you are hypersensitive to poison ivy or Phytolacca americana (American pokeweed), mango, cashew nuts and pink pepper.
• if you are an alcoholic.
• if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you suspect you are pregnant or intend to become pregnant.
• by children and adolescents under 18 years of age.

Warnings and precautions

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking RubaXX Duo. In acute conditions, which are accompanied by redness, swelling or overheating of joints, for example, and all persistent, unclear or newly occurring symptoms, a doctor should be consulted, as these may be diseases that require medical clarification. RubaXX Duo contains 51% alcohol by volume.

Children and adolescents

Children and adolescents up to 18 years of age must not take the medicine, as there is not yet sufficient experience for this age group.

Taking RubaXX Duo with other medicines

No medicines are known that influence RubaXX Duo or are influenced by RubaXX Duo. The effect of a homeopathic medicine can be adversely affected by generally harmful factors in the lifestyle and by stimulants and luxuries. Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking other medicines, have recently taken other medicines or intend to take other medicines.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

As there is no sufficiently documented experience with taking the medicine during pregnancy and breastfeeding, RubaXX Duo must not be taken.

Driving and using machines

No impairments are to be expected if RubaXX Duo is taken as recommended.

3. HOW TO TAKE RUBAXX DUO?

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this package leaflet or exactly as agreed with your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The recommended dose for adults is:

• acute conditions every half to whole hour, maximum 6 times a day, 5 drops each. Taking the medicine for more than one week should only be done after consulting a doctor or therapist experienced in homeopathy.
• chronic courses 1 to 3 times a day, 5 drops each. If the symptoms improve, the frequency of taking the medicine should be reduced.

The drops are taken after diluting them in half a glass of water, regardless of meals. Homeopathic medicines should also not be taken for a long period of time without medical advice.

If you have taken more RubaXX Duo than you should

Taking larger amounts of the medicine can lead to alcohol poisoning, especially in small children. In this case, there is a risk to life, which is why a doctor must be consulted immediately. If the entire contents of the bottle of 10 ml, 30 ml or 50 ml are taken, approximately 4.1 g, 12.2 g or 20.0 g of alcohol are ingested.

If you forget to take RubaXX Duo

Do not take twice the amount if you have forgotten to take the previous dose.

If you have any further questions about taking this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

4. WHAT SIDE EFFECTS ARE POSSIBLE?

Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Sensitive individuals may experience irritation in the mouth, throat and gastrointestinal tract, which may be accompanied by nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, dizziness, drowsiness and skin inflammation. The medicine should then be discontinued immediately and a doctor consulted.
When taking a homeopathic medicine, the existing symptoms may temporarily worsen (initial aggravation).
In this case, the medicine should be discontinued and the doctor consulted.
Reporting of side effects
If you experience any side effects, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. This also applies to side effects not listed in this package leaflet. You can also report side effects directly to the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices, Pharmacovigilance Department, Kurt-Georg-Kiesinger Allee 3, 53175 Bonn, website: www.bfarm.de. By reporting side effects, you can help provide more information about the safety of this medicine.

5. HOW TO STORE RUBAXX DUO?

Keep this medicine out of the reach of children. Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the label and carton after "Use by". The expiry date refers to the last day of the month indicated.

6. CONTENTS OF THE PACK AND OTHER INFORMATION

What RubaXX Duo contains

The active ingredients are Rhus toxicodendron Dil. D6 and Phytolacca americana Dil. D4. 10 g (= 10.8 ml) RubaXX Duo contain 5 g Rhus toxicodendron Dil. D6 and 5 g Phytolacca americana Dil. D4. 1 g corresponds to 23 drops.

What RubaXX Duo looks like and contents of the pack

RubaXX Duo is a clear, colourless liquid and is available in packs of 10 ml, 30 ml and 50 ml.
