Artelac Splash EDO is an ideal product for the immediate relief and moistening of dry eyes due to environmental influences. Artelac Splash EDO refreshes and soothes dry eyes naturally and relieves the symptoms of irritated, tired, dry and even watery eyes. In the practical single-dose ophtioles (EDO), Artelac Splash EDO is the natural freshness kick that immediately moisturises the eyes, which are heavily stressed by external factors every day.

• Artelac Splash EDO contains the polymer hyaluronic acid (in the form of sodium hyaluronate), which is also found in the natural structures of a healthy human eye and its tear film.

Composition

1 ml of Artelac Splash EDO solution contains: 0.2% hyaluronic acid (as sodium hyaluronate), potassium chloride, sodium chloride, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, water for injections. Artelac Splash EDO is free of preservatives.

Dosage form

Artelac Splash EDO is available in pack sizes of 10, 30 or 60 single-dose ophtioles with 0.5 ml of eye drop solution.

Intended use of Artelac Splash EDO

Artelac Splash EDO is a tear substitute and is suitable for wetting and rewetting hard and soft contact lenses during wear. Artelac Splash EDO is particularly suitable for refreshing and moistening dry eyes caused by external environmental factors. Such factors include: intensive computer work, air-conditioned room air, infrequent blinking, cigarette smoke and windy weather. Certain medicines (e.g. the "pill", antihistamines, beta-blockers, spasmolytics and diuretics), certain diseases or the preservatives used in some eye drops can also play an important role in the development of dry eyes. Artelac Splash EDO moisturises the eyes to relieve symptoms such as irritated, dry, tired eyes, foreign body sensation or watery eyes. Due to the properties of this product, users with chronic dry eyes can also benefit from it.

How often should Artelac Splash EDO be used?
Put 1 drop of Artelac Splash EDO into each eye as needed.

Important information on the

Application of Artelac Splash EDO

• In rare cases, the product may cause hypersensitivity reactions such as local allergic reactions. In these cases, treatment must be discontinued. Do not use the product if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.
• Safety information for patients with severe corneal damage: In very rare cases, calcium phosphate deposits on the cornea have been reported during treatment with phosphate-containing eye products.
• For better tolerability, Artelac Splash EDO does not contain any preservatives and each single-dose ophtiole should be discarded after single use.
• Do not use Artelac Splash EDO after the expiry date.
• Do not use damaged single-dose ophtioles.

Application of Artelac Splash EDO

1. Take hold of a single-dose ophtiole at the end with the label and separate it from the strip.
2. Unscrew the cap of the single-dose ophtiole.
3. Tilt your head back slightly and pull your lower eyelid down slightly with a finger of your free hand. Hold the single-dose ophtiole vertically over the open eye with the opening facing downwards and gently squeeze the single-dose ophtiole to put a drop into the eye.
4. Then close your eye, move it slightly to the right and left and blink to spread the drop evenly over the surface of the eye.

Avoid contact of the opening of the single-dose ophtiole with your eyes or fingers to avoid contamination of the solution.
