Flo and Stefan were at a big flat-sharing party in Frankfurt. After a long evening, even the biggest party animals got tired at some point and of course had to brush their teeth. The two of them noticed that many of their friends still use a manual toothbrush, although the majority of dentists recommend electric brushing.

When looking for reasons, the same answers came up again and again: It is too expensive, too cumbersome and too unattractive for their friends.This is where the first small idea for an electric toothbrush came from, which makes people happy. They then started with happybrush and developed the mission "OralCare That Really Cares".

Since their successful appearance on "Die Höhle der Löwen", the two founders have been working every day to bring a breath of fresh air to the dusty oral care industry with happybrush. Together they develop products to combine contemporary, effective and affordable oral care.

In addition, social commitment is very important to the two founders. That's why, together with Plan International, they provide 2 days of water for people in need for every toothpaste and mouthwash sold, one day for every dental floss, 3 days for every pack of interdental brushes and 1 week of water for every pack of brush heads.

Sustainability also plays a major role at happybrush. With their products made from recycled plastic, Flo and Stefan have been able to save around 72 tonnes of new plastic since 2019. Great!
