Flo and Stefan were at a big flat-share party in Frankfurt. After a long evening, even the biggest party animals eventually got tired and, of course, had to brush their teeth. They noticed something: many of their friends were still using a manual toothbrush, even though the majority of dentists recommend electric brushing.

In search of reasons, the same answers kept coming up: it's too expensive, too cumbersome, and too unattractive for their friends. This sparked a first small idea for an electric toothbrush that makes people happy. Following this, they started with happybrush and developed the mission "OralCare That Really Cares".

Since their successful appearance on “Die Höhle der Löwen”, the two founders work every day to bring a breath of fresh air into the dusty oral care industry with happybrush. Together, they develop products to combine modern, effective, and affordable oral care.

Furthermore, social commitment is very close to the hearts of both founders. Therefore, for every toothpaste and mouthwash sold, they provide 2 days of water for people in need, together with Plan International; for every dental floss, one day; for every pack of interdental brushes, 3 days; and with every pack of brush heads, 1 week of water.

Sustainability also plays a big role at happybrush. Thus, Flo and Stefan have been able to save approximately 72 tons of new plastic since 2019 with their products made from recycled plastic. Great!
