In many parts of the world, the heart is marinated and grilled, a real treat. Before eating, the hearts should be soaked in milk or water overnight so that the clotted blood can dissolve somewhat. For cats, chicken hearts are also a real treat.
Selected slow-growing country chicken breed
The French country chicken is a slow-growing breed of chicken. The genetically determined late maturity has two advantages: Whole chickens and parts are heavier than usual for organic chickens in the supermarket. And at the same time, the meat is fully matured and therefore particularly tasty.
In the broiler sector, male and female chicks are always raised together. Both sexes are unrestrictedly suitable for the fattening area and no animal has to be killed as a chick. The chicken enjoys a steadily growing popularity. This is partly due to the fact that chickens are very uncomplicated and relatively easy to keep animals.
