The classic for the whole family. The roasted chicken has a long tradition as a Sunday roast. The organic chickens are somewhat heavier than conventional chickens, which is why they take a little longer to prepare.

Selected slow-growing country chicken breed

The French country chicken is a slow-growing breed of chicken. The genetically determined late maturity has two advantages: Whole chickens and parts are heavier than usual for organic chickens in the supermarket. And at the same time, the meat is fully matured and therefore particularly tasty.

In the broiler sector, male and female chicks are always raised together. Both sexes are unrestrictedly suitable for the fattening area and no animal has to be killed as a chick. The chicken enjoys a generally steadily growing popularity. This is partly due to the fact that chickens are very uncomplicated and relatively easy to keep animals. They are also characterized by good feed conversion and low water consumption – and thus play a not unimportant role in protecting our resources.
