2. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW BEFORE USING ZINKSALBE LICHTENSTEIN?

Zinksalbe Lichtenstein must not be used if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to zinc oxide, wool wax alcohols or any of the other ingredients of Zinksalbe Lichtenstein.

Special care must be taken when using Zinksalbe Lichtenstein

When treating the genital or anal area with Zinksalbe Lichtenstein, the use of Vaseline as an auxiliary substance may reduce the tear resistance of latex condoms and thus impair the safety of condoms.

When using Zinksalbe Lichtenstein with other medicines

Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking/using or have recently taken/used any other medicines, even if they are non-prescription medicines. Before using other external medicines (medicines for external use), Zinksalbe Lichtenstein must be completely removed (limited effect of other external medicines).

Pregnancy and breast-feeding

Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dosage is: Unless otherwise prescribed, Zinksalbe Lichtenstein is applied to the affected skin areas once to several times a day and covered with gauze.

A slight burning sensation may occur after applying Zinksalbe Lichtenstein to severely inflamed skin areas. Occasionally (in 1 to 10 out of 1,000 people treated), intolerance reactions of the skin may occur, which may manifest as skin inflammation (redness, itching, burning). If you notice such signs, please stop using Zinksalbe Lichtenstein and see your doctor.

5. HOW TO STORE ZINKSALBE LICHTENSTEIN?

Keep out of the reach of children. Do not use the medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the folding box and tube after "Use by". The expiry date refers to the last day of the month. Storage conditions: Do not store above 25°C. Protect from strong temperature fluctuations.

What Zinksalbe Lichtenstein contains

The active ingredient is zinc oxide. 100 g of ointment contain 10 g of zinc oxide. The other ingredients are: White Vaseline, wool wax alcohols, cetyl stearyl alcohol (Ph. Eur.).
