Insulin Pen Compatibility

Glucoject Pen Needles are universally compatible with all insulin pens (compatibility test according to ISO 11608-2, section 4.9).

Glucoject Pen Needles Components

A pen needle consists of a hollow needle embedded in a plastic hub. It is intended for use with an insulin pen.

Application of Glucoject Pen Needles:

• Remove the seal from the pen needle.
• Place the needle straight onto the insulin pen and screw it on tightly. Then remove the outer protective cap and set it aside. You will need it later to remove the pen needle from the insulin pen. Then remove the inner protective cap.
• Set your insulin dose.
• Check the flow by dispensing into the air. A drop of liquid should appear at the needle tip.
• Perform the insulin injection.
• Replace the outer protective cap and remove the needle from the insulin pen.
