Gläserne Molkerei Organic Barrel Butter, natural

For our traditional barrel butter, we use the finest organic cream and gently churn it in a barrel to create a creamy butter. It is then shaped into its distinctive roll shape and wrapped in parchment paper. This paper is made of 100% paper and can therefore be composted or disposed of with waste paper.

The raw milk, which is gently pasteurized, comes from organic farmers who keep their cows in a species-appropriate manner with plenty of space to roam.

As an organic dairy, we are particularly committed to a good coexistence between people and nature. That's why we launched the "Die Weide lebt!" initiative, with which we work together with our farmers to sustainably protect and strengthen biodiversity on our pastures, meadows and fields in the region. 
Our goal is to convert at least 20% of the area on all farms into high-quality habitat for biodiversity. To this end, we are implementing numerous nature conservation measures together with our farmers.

As a purely organic dairy, we live transparency and love unadulterated organic enjoyment. Our organic farmers keep their cows in a species-appropriate manner, with plenty of space to roam and exclusively ecologically produced feed. At our two locations in northern and eastern Germany, we sustainably process the valuable milk into high-quality, cultivation-certified organic products such as organic drinking milk, organic butter, organic yogurt and organic cheese.
