The followfood demeter potatoes from regenerative agriculture come to your plate as crispy organic fries from the Black Forest. On the organic farm of Sophie and Jonathan Kraul, the followfood demeter potatoes grow and thrive with the help of mulch, which also builds up the soil. The lively and nutrient-rich soil gives the demeter fries an excellent quality that you can taste. Gently processed, finely cut and pre-fried in organic rapeseed oil, only the best of the potato goes into the fryer on your cheat day. And so that nothing is wasted, the entire potato is processed into crispy röstis or crispy croquettes.
Financed by the followfood Bodenretter Fund, followfood is pioneering the testing and research of ecologically regenerative cultivation methods on the family-run Demeter farm in the Black Forest. Mulch cultivation is particularly good for potatoes because it protects the soil from drying out and erosion. This allows water to be better stored in the soil and the water balance remains stable even during dry periods. Mulch also has a fertilizing effect - it is gradually decomposed into humus in the soil, which allows CO₂ to be stored in the soil. A type of organic farming that secures our future. followfood BIO Pommes Frites - Kartoffelstäbchen, gleichmäßig länglich geschnitten, in Pflanzenöl vorgebacken, tiefgekühlt.
Zutaten: 95% Kartoffeln aus kontrolliert biologisch-dynamischer Landwirtschaft, Demeter Anteil 95 %; 5% Rapsöl aus kontrolliert biologischer Landwirtschaft.
Zubereitung: HEISSLUFTFRITTEUSE: Die Heißluftfritteuse auf 200 °C vorheizen. Die tiefgekühlten Pommes Frites ca. 12–16 Minuten goldgelb frittieren. Frittierkorb gelegentlich vorsichtig schütteln. FRITTEUSE: Die Fritteuse auf 170 °C vorheizen. Die tiefgekühlten Pommes Frites ca. 4 Minuten goldgelb frittieren. Den Frittierkorb nicht überfüllen.
Im Backofen: Den Ofen vorheizen, die tiefgekühlten Pommes Frites auf dem Backblech verteilen und goldgelb backen. Nach der Hälfte der Backzeit die Pommes einmal wenden. UMLUFT: 180 °C 20 – 25 Minuten. OBER-/UNTERHITZE: 200 °C 25 – 30 Minuten.
Lagerung: bei -18°C lagern, nach dem Auftauen nicht wieder einfrieren
